Huracán Performante is Jeremy Clarkson’s "Car of The Year"

Huracán Performante keeps making news. Jeremy Clarkson, former Top Gear host and regular contributor for The Sunday Times, chose the Performante as his 2018 car of the year. Clarkson gave the award to Lamborghini’s Chief Technical Officer, Maurizio Reggiani, on the occasion of the “Sunday Times Motor Awards” presented by The Sunday Times and The Sun newspapers in News Corp’s headquarters in London.
Made to rework the concept of super sports cars, the Huracán Performante took the notion of performance to levels never seen before, while also conveying a new idea of beauty. But Clarkson felt and saw more than that in it. “This is about the car that appealed more than anything. You get into it and you don’t know what it is that’s tingling the back of your head, but you think ‘this thing’s good’. There’s something about it: it’s not the speed, it’s not the looks. There’s only really been one car in the last twelve months where I’ve had that feeling, and that’s the Lamborghini Huracán Performante.”
