Founded in 1963, Automobili Lamborghini is headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese, in Northern Italy. The Lamborghini Huracán, which made its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2014, in the Huracán Spyder and rear wheel-drive version released in 2015, are the successors to the iconic Gallardo. With their innovative technology and exceptional performance, they redefine the driving experience for luxury super sports cars. The Coupé and Roadster versions of the Aventador and the Aventador Superveloce are the new benchmark in the world of luxury super sports cars with V12 engine. Born in Imola on May 11th, 1965, Stefano Domenicali is the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini. His professional career began at Ferrari in 1991, where he held various positions of growing responsibility until he eventually became Head of Direzione Sportiva F1 Ferrari in 2008. In November 2014 he joined AUDI AG as Vice President of the company’s New Business Initiatives, before taking up his current position at Automobili Lamborghini in Sant'Agata Bolognese. He is a member of the F.I.A. World Motor Sport Council, on which he serves as President of the Single Seater Commission. He has two children, Martino and Viola, by his wife Silvia, and loves to cultivate his many passions, including music, the mountains, aviation, and basketball.
Paolo Poma is the Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director responsible for finance, administration and control, IT, legal affairs, compliance and risk management. Born in Bergamo on 22 June 1966, Poma received his degree in Engineering Management from the Polytechnic University of Milan. He began his career in the construction sector, where he worked in operations, then went on to earn his Master’s in Business Administration from the SDA Bocconi School of Management. In 2000 he went to work for McKinsey & Co. in Milan and, after two years, was appointed Director of Planning and M&A for Ducati. In 2005, he took over the same position at the Tenaris Group in Buenos Aires. In 2007, he returned to Ducati, where he filled various finance roles with increasing levels of responsibility, until his appointment as CFO in 2011. Following Ducati’s acquisition by the VW Group in 2012, he guided the company through its integration into the group and, in 2015, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Italia, from where he has joined Lamborghini. He has a partner, Giulia, and a four-year-old daughter, Chiara. He is passionate about running and skiing.
Maurizio Reggiani was born in San Martino Spino in northern Italy, and studied mechanical engineering at the University of Modena. He has been the Research & Development Director for Automobili Lamborghini since 2006. Maurizio and his team manage every phase of the vehicle design and testing, ensuring that the products they create and develop are highly innovative and of elite quality, in keeping with the company's DNA. He began his automotive career in 1982, and came to Automobili Lamborghini in 1998 as a Project Leader for Murciélago where he worked until 2001, when he was appointed Manager of the Powertrain and Suspensions division. A fan of both football and engines, he is also very fond of history and technology in general.
Ranieri Niccoli was born in Bologna on November 12, 1968, and earned a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Rome in 1995.
He began his career at FIAT Automobili, where he held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in the Production area before becoming Head of Assembly at the Mirafiori site.
He continued his career at Bonfiglioli Riduttori.
In 2008 he became Industrial Director at Lamborghini, where he is in charge of Production, Logistics, Industrial Technology, and Infrastructure.
He married his wife Francesca in 2000 and the couple have three children: Lorenzo, Gabriele, and Francesco.
He is passionate about sport, cinema, and music.
Born in Ravenna on August 20, 1972, Federico Foschini has been Commercial Director at Automobili Lamborghini since September 2015. With a degree in Management Engineering, he has been with Lamborghini for 17 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility before becoming Head of the Project Management Department in 2008. In addition to his keen interest in the automotive sector, he is passionate about music and enjoys skiing and playing tennis and football.
Katia Bassi is Chief Marketing Officer of Automobili Lamborghini and the first woman ever to join the Lamborghini Board. She graduated in Political Science and Law and holds a Master’s from Columbia University. Before joining Lamborghini, she was Vice President of Aston Martin Lagonda and Managing Director of AM Brands, Licensing Manager at Ferrari, Commercial Director of FC Internazionale as well as Country Director – Italy for the NBA. Married to Silvio, she loves theatre and literature.
Stefan Gramse was born in Salzgitter on April 4, 1976. After completing compulsory school education in vocational fields, followed by professional training in economics and his military service, Gramse went on to study Business Administration, specializing in the automotive sector. He began work in 2004 as an intern at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg, Germany, responsible for infotainment in the Purchasing Department. In 2007, Gramse was appointed as Head of Resource Management for Volkswagen's electrical/electronic components Development Department; he then moved to Audi AG in 2009 as Purchasing Manager – Chassis. He held various positions until his appointment as Purchasing Director – Chassis Form Parts in 2014. He devotes his leisure time to everything that has to do with automotive-related technology. He is also a keen tennis and golf player. He has taken his passion for cars and super-sports cars with him to his new role as Purchasing Director since August 1, 2016.
Umberto Tossini has been Director of Human Resources & Organization at Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. since October 2006.
He has made a successful proactive contribution to the company's growth, focusing on the career paths of its human resources and the processes associated with a modern leadership model and the promotion of a corporate culture based on shared values. His strategic approach to HR takes into account not only the business but also its sustainability in the community, leading to several acknowledgements and awards for the company, including Top Employer 2016, 2017, 2018. Mr. Tossini was born in Avellino in 1967 and earned a Law Degree at LUISS University in Rome. An avid cyclist, he is also passionate about theatre and 20th century literature.
Born in Milan on 16 August 1969, Massimo Fumarola is Chief Project Management Officer. After graduating from Milan Polytechnic with a degree in Industrial Technology Engineering and earning an MBA at the Cranfield School of Management in England, he joined the Fiat group in 1995, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in Product Management, Product Engineering, and Business Development of IVECO SpA. In 2004 he was named Product Portfolio Development Director of Ferrari and in 2009 Vice-President for Key Accounts Management of Fiat Powertrain Technologies SpA. Subsequently, he took on the role of Vice-President for Product Portfolio Strategy at CNH Industrial N.V. and CEO of Astra Veicoli Industriali SpA. In 2016 he joined the Sales & Marketing function at Audi AG and then came to Automobili Lamborghini in 2018. Happily married to his wife Valentina, they have two children, Nina and Sara, with whom they love to travel.
Thomas Kolthoff has been Quality Director since June 2015. Quality is a core competence of Automobili Lamborghini. In line with our company mission to deliver the most desirable luxury super-sport cars, we aim for an uncompromising level of quality right down to the smallest details, in order to ensure customer expectations are always exceeded. Thomas Kolthoff’s education and training path led straight to aircraft design. He studied Design Technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Wilhelmshaven and Power Engineering/Fluid Mechanics at Ruhr-University Bochum. In November 1995 he joined Audi AG, where he gained several years of hands-on technical experience and managerial skills, covering a number of different areas in the R&D and Quality Departments at the Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm sites. From 2008 to 2015 he was responsible for worldwide durability testing. He is a passionate endurance athlete and has successfully completed several long-distance triathlons and marathons.
