EXTERIOR

A lightweight approach and functional design combine to express pure performance. While its contours may be reminiscent of the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO, the Huracán STO features a completely revised shape that optimizes the vehicle’s aerodynamics, while employing carbon fiber in more than 75% of the body panels. In particular, the Cofango—a specially designed body component that incorporates the front hood and fenders—maximizes frontal aerodynamic performance while saving weight. 
The overall effect is an immediate sense of racing excitement.

The interior features the same track-minded approach, using lightweight, high-quality materials throughout—most notably carbon fiber. Featured in the door panels, interior details, seats and floor mats, this innovative and distinctive material offers a super-sports look that perfectly complements the car’s fine Alcantara® and Carbon Skin® finishes for added performance flair and functional style. 
While recalling the Huracán EVO, the interior solutions of the new Huracán STO contribute to an overall weight reduction compared to the previous model. Along with additional features such as a new trim and titanium roll bar with 4-point seatbelts, the end result elicits the sensation and character of true racing from the moment you get behind the wheel.

When the engine in the new Huracán STO roars into life, its motorsports heritage can be both felt and heard. As Lamborghini has applied to its design all the knowhow gained from its Squadra Corse greats, like the Huracán ST and GT3 EVO.

To offer new heights of performance and the sensation of driving a genuine race car, Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) has been replaced on the Huracán STO with a fixed and more direct steering ratio and three new outstanding driving modes: STO, TROFEO and PIOGGIA.

With Lamborghini Connected Telemetry, the driving experience on the track will be even more fun. You get helpful information on how to improve while behind the wheel, and it analyzes the performance achieved in detail with the UNICA app, turning your smartphone into your personal track engineer.

AERODYNAMICS

Every race car requires extreme aerodynamics and to achieve that level of performance on the new road-legal Huracán STO, Lamborghini has used all its racing experience.

At the front, a splitter distributes airflow to improve the car’s ground effect, while air ducts on the hood generate front downforce and louvers increase the outgoing airflow to reduce pressure in the wheelhouse and further increase downforce.

At the rear, a shark fin improves the dynamic behavior of the car especially when cornering, an air scoop keeps the rear underhood temperature cool and a rear diffuser maintains the correct level of rear downforce. The rear wing is designed to obtain the desired aerodynamics downforce increase and limited drag, while its slotted design encompassing three manually adjustable positions enhances the car’s racing feel by allowing the driver to adapt the front aero balance to suit different driving styles.

To further enhance braking confidence, the pedal has been slightly lengthened to ensure greater reactivity and together these elements offer a remarkable level of braking consistency in all driving conditions and an exclusive sensation of safe driving.

This has meant using strong, ultra-light carbon fiber body panels and adopting, for some elements, a technology developed by the aerospace industry - “sandwich” - to reduce weight. Then there is the racing-style Alcantara® upholstery, a 30% lighter windshield, new magnesium rims, reduced soundproofing and a titanium rear arch.

All these solutions have led to an overall reduction of 43 kg compared to the Huracán Performante, ensuring the STO offers a lighter, faster, distinctively racing experience.

The level of performance is striking: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 9.0 seconds, and a top speed of 310 km/h. An unforgettable driving experience that is enhanced by the engine’s responsive racing feel, direct pedal-to-throttle tuning and increased sound sharpness at high revs. This is pure power.
