Automobili Lamborghini and Alma Pramac Racing are celebrating Made in Italy together at the Mugello Circuit as Lamborghini Centro Stile designed special liveries for the Tuscan team that will take to the track at the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday, June 3.
The Ducati Desmosedici GPs of Danilo Petrucci and Jack Miller sporting the Lamborghini colors were presented on the pit lane of one of the most iconic stages of the MotoGP™ with Automobili Lamborghini Chairman & CEO Stefano Domenicali and Alma Pramac Racing Team Principal Paolo Campinoti looking on.
The idea of these unique liveries was born as a tribute to the affinity between Automobili Lamborghini and the “factory supported” team of Ducati, which presented the 2018 season of Alma Pramac Racing March 12 in the spectacular setting of Manifattura Lamborghini’s Sala Olimpo.
“I would like to thank Paolo Campinoti for this wonderful opportunity,” commented Stefano Domenicali. “Lamborghini is an ambassador of Made in Italy throughout the world and is a company projected towards the future, with particular attention to young people who are also our customers. I therefore believe that our special presence in the world of MotoGP is a perfect occasion. The Alma Pramac Racing’s Ducati Desmosedici GP livery designed for the race on Sunday by our Centro Stile makes us particularly proud. On behalf of all Automobili Lamborghini, I wish Petrucci and Miller the very best of luck for a fantastic Italian Grand Prix race, as well as to all of Ducati Corse, a brand to which we are linked as a result to belonging to the same Group.”
Paolo Campinoti added: “We had the privilege and honor of being guests in the spectacular backdrop of the Urus line to inaugurate our 2018 MotoGP season. So we like to think that we can reciprocate by putting these fabulous Ducati Desmosedici in the colors of Lamborghini on the track during our home GP. The start of the season has given us great satisfaction with Danilo and Jack. We want to continue on down this path, and we have to do it starting from tomorrow.”
